I work with individuals and groups. Much of my work over the last eight years has been with businesses and charities. More recently I also work with people who feel they could be getting more out of life.

It is difficult to enjoy life if your work is not satisfying and rewarding. Equally it is difficult to work well if your personal life is full of anxiety and tension.

To help the  people I work with I use coaching, facilitation, counselling techniques and skills.

I have learned and developed these techniques and skills through my own experience of running a business, working with charities, bringing up a family and organising lots of social events for my own fun and enjoyment.

My formal training has been with the Sirolli Institute based in the USA and with the Coaching Academy based in the UK. I am also currently studying for a diploma in Counselling at the Gosforth Community College, Newcastle.

I believe in a humanistic and holistic approach to development and growth. Sometimes when you need to make changes in your life it is useful to have someone who will listen to your ideas, hopes, fears and plans without judging you or telling you what they feel you should do. It is my experience that everyone wants to feel good about themselves and we only manage this once we are really clear about what we expect from life and from ourselves. I have been lucky enough to have been surrounded by lots of interesting and broad minded people who have helped me develop my own beliefs and values. I use this experience to support others to find ways of making life rewarding, full and engaging.

If you feel there are areas of your life you would like to change or improve, then I may be able to help. It will cost you nothing to have a chat to me and following that, you can decide if you want to take things further.
